Whitewater Weekend On The Payette with NFC - June 11-13 2015
Did you know the Payette River in Idaho has one of the most difficult whitewater challenges in the U.S.? With over 15 miles of continuous class V whitewater, the Payette River is now home to the North Fork Championship, an event showcasing competition with some of the best kayaking talent from around the world.

There will be many races throughout the weekend, the Expert Division race (presented by Vivid Roots), BoaterX race (presented by The North Face), Elite Race and even a Stoke Float the last day for anyone confident enough to take on the North Fork Payette before a fun celebration in Weilmunster Park.
Maybe you aren’t interested in heading up to the events by the river but still want to enjoy seeing some kayaking, in this case check out the Melt Awards at the Egyptian Theatre in Downtown Boise. The Melt Awards give you an opportunity to see some fresh photos and videos from those behind the lens of kayaking adventures and obstacles from across the globe. Watch, enjoy, vote and enter in some raffles for a chance to win items from NRS, Smith Optics, GoPro and more!
