Vivid Roots + Dutch Bros. Coffee = One great opportunity

Two of Boise’s favorite businesses are teaming up to support one great cause! People are always looking for a way to support and give back to the community, but it’s not everyday that these opportunities are just set up for you. On August 10, for the entire week, Dutch Bros. Coffee and Vivid Roots are giving you free gear and coffee for volunteering! THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL.

This week is all about encouraging people to not only support causes that help worldwide but also dedicate some time in your own community. Join us on one or all of the following days at different locations around Boise to help out locally.

Times and locations for the week of August 10-14 2015 "Think Global, Act Local"

Monday, August 10th: 10AM-12PM Discovery Center Boise

Tuesday, August 11th: 6PM-8PM Anne Morrision Park  Tree preservation project.

Wednesday, August 12th: (21 and Over) 6PM-9PM Pinewood Derby with Proof Eyewear

 

Thursday, August 13th: Volunteer with Boise Bike Project 6:00PM-8:00pm and help them prepare for 2015 Tour de Fat Boise. Only 10 slots available . Confirm attendance via text to Trever Bostrom 208.283.4772.

Friday, August 14th: 5AM-5AM August 15 ALL PROCEEDS DAY Milwaukee Dutch Bros (1181 N. Milwaukee St. Boise) 

All proceeds from sales between 5AM 8/14 - 5AM 8/15 will benefit a Vivid Roots water project in La Majada in San Jacinto, Chiquimula. This clean water system provides water to 275 homes and over 1,300 people. Not only will all proceeds from this day go to a good cause , there will be a barbecue, music and all sorts of fun going on as well. Swing by and grab a coffee or just come hang out. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

If I’ve learned anything from travel it’s that it makes me want more.

In a single day I woke up to a Minturn, Colorado snow storm, only to find myself hours later staring out across a red rock desert in Moab. I met an adventurous few living out of a combination of their tents and cars; moving from one radical rock face to the next. Thanks to a friend I was lucky enough to spend some time with these pioneers of the sky.
